Does the bling bling sing sing for Intel?

I am sorry for the title, I know it is horrible, but please bear with me and look past that ๐Ÿ™‚

OK, here is what I want to know. Are you running Beryl with an Intel 945GM chipset? If you are running Ubuntu or Kubuntu please let me know. As most already know I am a KDE user so Kubuntu is my flavor of choice. So if you are using Kubuntu with a combination similar to mine, please let me know your experiences. Thank you so much!

OK, for those of you going “but nixternal you preach composite is crap,” I want to not only see the hoopla for myself, but Beryl is a positive thing for gaining switchers. I am keeping my free software stance, but I feel that in order to gain switchers we need to show them the bling bling. So if you are a FSF or GNU advocate, please don’t get into a pissing contest, as I agree with 99.9% of your philosophy. So hit me with the goods, it would be great to just leave a comment to this so I can bookmark and pimp it for those who might be wondering the same thing I am right now. Once again, thanks everyone, and you are the reason this community kicks ass!

UPDATE:ร‚ย  I apologize, but when I brought up the FSF/GNU stuff I forgot to add the part about ATI and NVidia driver. I apologize.ร‚ย

My hats off to you…

Ubuntu Canada. From the pictures it looks like you did a great job. I was not expecting to see this though.

Tux owns Bill

I did not know you guys had a Tux that damn big. I love how it is overlooking the MS display with a look of disgust on his face. I read the bogus publicity and I am sorry, that show of force I know grabbed more than 1 persons attention. If you successfully converted 1 person, I feel you did your job. That 1 person will got tell another person and so on. Great job guys. Hey, where can I get one of them big ass penguins? For those of you who want to see more pictures, check out the Flickr images they posted.

Vista Social Engineering

This is a new one to me and rather humorous for a hack. It seems Vista is flawed, go figure, where a cracker can gain access and run commands on your computer by:

SHOUTING COMMANDS THROUGH THE SPEECH-RECOGNITION FEATURE!

I thought I had heard it all. So if you stumble upon a website and hear “CONTROL ALT DELETE,” don’t panic, as it is meant for a Windows Vista user. This brings social engineering to the computer now, simply amazing. What’s next?
